Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for High Cholesterol

Keep your pizza intake to one slice to avoid high cholesterol intake while you dine at Pizza Hut. Skip Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice as it contains a high amount of fat and the sodium levels are also very high. Avoid the desserts section completely to limit the fat and sugar intake. TL;DR - It's Pizza Hut, so you know what to expect from the food. The service was great though! Went to Sushi City, but it was too crowded and they were even cautioning about their slow service, my roommate and I headed over to the Pizza Hut across the parking lot. We got to this location and we were the only ones there (one other table showed up later). We ended up getting some wings and a Hawaiian Pizza. The food was good enough and we knew what we were getting into. No one goes to Pizza Hut for top-notch pizza, it's there for an easy dinner fix. And in that regard, it delivered. The ingredients in that made up the pizza (bacon, pineapple, sauce, cheese, crust) were good and not stale or bland. Granted we were the only ones there, but our waitress was on point and brought everything out quickly. She's probably the reason I'm giving this 3 stars and not 2. The place was clean and the pizza was definitely passable. Worth it to make a visit if you are starving and need somewhere to eat pronto.

Please avoid going to Pizza Hut in downers grove il on 75th street. The service is disgusting and pathetic. I went there to order a pizza at 10 pm on Friday nite since they didn't talk to me over the phone instead put me on hold for 22 minutes. Anyhow , when I got there I saw the cashier talking to some customer for about 12 minutes. Yes right 12 minutes .. She didn't even bother to ask me to wait instead kept talking rubbish for 12 minutes to a customer who was just waiting for his order. Then I heard phone ringing and no one bothered to pick up the phone. Anyways I grabbed my pizza that I ordered and left. Pizza was good but service just pathetic

I am surprised how easily an order can be messed up when it only requires the ability to read. On average, there is atleast 1 thing on an order which is missing or incorrect. The most recent experience entailed a 2hr wait. The manager called less than 10 minutes before the expected delivery time to tell me it would be another 30min. I asked if the order would still be hot and was ensured it would be. 30min turned into 45 and the order was cold. Aside from the incorrect order, the delivery crew can not figure out how to use a dial pad to get into the building even after instructions are put into the "special delivery instructions" box. If you plan on ordering from here, be prepared for disappointment.

I just received my pizza from this Pizza Hut! It was 20 minutes late and tasted like cold cardboard. What a mistake to have thought Pizza Hut might of changed. LOL , Joke is on me! Never again. The pretzel crust looks awesome on ads etc. This is definitely photo shopped. All it tasted like was a salty piece of card board. I got indigestion after the second piece. Hopefully I learned my lesson and won't try anything this foolish again.

Came for a pick up that took 2 times of repeating the order when we placed it over the phone. They said it would be ready in ten minutes we've been waiting for 25 minutes so far. This place is so dirty they have 3 uncleaned tables from people previously. There salad bar is really dirty, everything has dew all over it. There is 2 other couples waiting for there pizza one of them hasn't even been greated yet and as I am waiting here there is a fly that keeps landing on me. I am glad I am not eating this food. I will not be back.

We stay practically next door to this establishment so in the five years of renting we've ordered here more times than I can remember. Recently though it seems they've hired a staff of extremely incompetent individuals. Last week I ordered the big dipper. I tried with no luck to order via their website first so but ended up having to call it in since the site was tripping. When we arrived to pick our pizza up they handed my husband one small pizza box & was ready to send him on his way. He sensed an error & came to the car to ask & I confirmed they had screwed our order up. We had to wait another 25 minutes because they gave us 12 strips in a small box vs the 24 strips that come in the big dipper. They had all the excuses in the world. They didn't know about the box size. They don't have the long box. They haven't seen the marketing. They remade the entire pizza & gave us a $15 credit to use in the future. We decided to utilize that credit today. I ordered the big dipper again. Pepperoni with a side of breadsticks. Asked the employee, Renee, to repeat my order, give me the time frame & the total. She did everything & it was correct. My husband is there now waiting yet again because this place screwed up yet again. She said I ordered sausage but gave my husband an all cheese pizza. She is absolutely mistaken. & if she was correct, I surely didn't place an order for only cheese. We will NEVER EVER return here & I will tell everyone I know to never come here. They are ignorant, rude & incapable of the simple job of placing an order correctly & actually giving the customer what they ordered. I am pissed & I will be contacting the highest level of managerial I can reach. Because this is a big inconvenience. What's the point of ordering ahead of time when we end of waiting another 30 minutes because they have to remake a pizza due to their incompetence. Absolutely unacceptable.

The hut is on the downward spiral. The salad bar looks wilted. The pizza is meh at best. The service is non-existent. They know their business is carryout and delivery. You get a pizza place that you liked in school since it was cheap, but you matured. recommend if you need cheap pizza and for carryout/delivery and don't want little caesars.

Yep. It's a Pizza hut. Looks the same as the last time I'd been in one... High school. Flash forward 15 years to my 5-year-old daughter getting a free pizza coupon and here we are. We got all you can palate at Pizza Hut, the pan pizza. It sure was pizza all right. The exceptional sodium had us all getting up in the night to suck down water. Service is outstanding (ask for Amanda).

I picked up the trio of pastas for our office party. I have never had them before and I was voted out to actually make the pasta myself by the new guy we just hired. He must have been one of those jackasses on the commercial that couldn't tell that it was Pizza Hut pasta. Are you fuckin kidding me? If I got served this at a restaurant I would get up and leave. For the hut, this is just o.k. The sauce wasn't covering all the pasta. But, I have had it happen at Maggiano's where the whole bottom of the plate was raw pasta and no sauce. So I have to let them slide. Three pounds? It didn't look like it, but I put it on the postage scale and it was actually a little over. Would I get it again? Not on yer life. I'll stick to the all you can eat buffet. The pie's are what made the Hut.

This particular location is THE WORST. There are plenty of good pizza places in my area, so I'll go there...This weekend had to be the third time I got there and waited a LONG time for my pizza. The question I have is why don't they just tell you it's going to be 40 minutes? Instead, they tell you "it will be ready in 20 minutes." you get there, and there are 10..not exaggerating, 10 other people all waiting for their pizza. I waited there for 20 minutes before mine was ready, and when I left there was another guy who had been there longer than me who was waiting, and they couldn't even find his order! They keep saying it's because they are short staffed, but the staff they have seem very confused at everything going on, they don't know who's orders go to who, which pizza belongs to what order. It's ridiculous! I made the suggestion that they maybe give people the actual expected wait time, and it was like a totally foreign idea to them. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Plenty of good local pizza places.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
